No, actually I was delivering Styrofoam foundation forms for a new house being built right on the top of a mountain.

Well, ok. They used "some" Washington apples...... -
Took a load of cheese from Roswell NM to some distributor up in Wisconsin. Bet they repackaged the stuff as "Wisconsin Cheese!"
The Challenger Thanks this. -
I pickedf up a load at...Well i forgot the town, but it was in Ohio, and the shipper was North American Nutrition Company. The place my directions got me to had some grain silos, so i was wondering wtf. Turns out im hauling animal feed. I was told that i might have to wait because only one load is ready. Turns out MY load is the ONE that is ready. There were a couple of other drivers waiting, and BOY WERE THEY MAD.
I had to go to another warehouse down the road. Well, I got there, I didn't see anyone working there. Door by the dock was unlocked but blocked with palllets. I slipped in there and didnt see anyone, and got the feeling i was somewhere i shouldnt be. Slipped back out, found the front door...also unlocked.....walked right in, still didnt see anyone. Wandered around for a bit looking for someone. Oh, and it was raining outside. Well, all of a sudden it got very bright and the floor was wet. I looked up and I am looking at the sky. A 100ft section of the roof was collapsed. But...the facility was still in use, all the debris had been cleaned up, and they simply didnt use that part of the building. WTF? How can that NOT be condemned?
I've thought about calling the city and telling them about it. But...how could a hole that big in a building that big not be noticed by anyone? I think they paid someone off to keep that place open.
This was just last week too. -
A guy I work with told me about a delivery he made some time ago to an Air Force base in the NE part of the country where he had to back a 53' trailer full of airplane parts up into a C-111 cargo plane and drop it. A week later he went back and picked up the empty.
Another guy I know used to make a run from Minneapolis to Alaska once a month. He'd drive to Seattle I think he said, and then drive onto a ferry for a day and a half boat ride up into Alaska before he'd finish his run, and then do the same thing coming back. 10 days round trip. -

I had a load going to Kimberly Clark in Mobile, AL. They told me to back into what they called "the pit". Basically a semi blind side down a ramp and into a near pit black dock. It was interesting because I had only been driving for 6 months lol
