Delivered military cable to the federal women's prison in Lexington Kentucky. Just sat there while six or seven women unloaded. And just to let everyone know, the women were nothing like the women I've seen on late night cinemax women's prison movies!

Here is the weirdest place to deliver, for a lot of people. It's called Brooklyn NY, fourth largest city in the US.

I delivered a load of liquid nitrogen to a place called Cryo-Life. They (until their bankruptcy anyway) froze bodies and parts of bodies, usually the heads. Their theory was that in later decades medical technology could either clone or "reanimate" a deceased person. After the company stopped paying their liquid nitrogen bill, the tanks went dry, things heated up and you can figure out the rest. When we went back to remove the tanks, the coroner was there removing the remains and it was pretty bad. The place gave us all the serious creeps, especially during night time deliveries. I also deliver oxygen to some heavy duty mental hospitals (like Patton State Hospital/Atascadero). You will be standing there filling the tank and you can't tell the patients from the employees, so you just don't make eye contact with anyone. Since a patient tried to grab the hose on a driver one time (you unload Lox at -270 degrees) and his hand instantly froze, resulting in amputation, now we have correctional officers with us at all times. Funny how they didn't care about that until a patient got hurt. We have food processing (you don't want to know how that "quarter pounder" is processed) and poultry plants where the chickens are killed using nitrogen. Actually, now that I think about it, we do have tons of weird places. I also have delivered aviation grade oxygen to the Nevada Test Site and Area 51. And nope, never saw any "little green men"..Weird things, yes, but no little green men..
