WEL has a terminal in Modesto, CA which would be great for me. Like everyone else here, I would like some more information about this outfit. It looks like they will pay well for experience based on the prior posts. I am wondering if they have a regional division out of California. I almost never see any of their trucks running out here in the west, but maybe it is mostly reefer freight and I don't typically run the same lanes as they do.

I f anyone can give me the inside scoop on this company I would really appreciate it. They want to hire my husband at .40 cpm with a year experience of o.t.r driving. They said he would average 3000 mi. per week, get paid for unloading, and stop pay. Everything the recruiter told us sounded pretty good, was hoping a current driver for WEL could tell us more, thanks

I work for Ruan. We haul office furniture our loads are out and back we run about 350 mile radius of Atlanta,GA. Its kinda run like a linehaul but its very rare we bring back anything. We just deliver to the customer and return empty. The pays not bad either i think i will be at 75,000.00 this year end. But in the summer we run, I think i was getting 3500 to 3900 miles a week and still off most weekends mabey work a sat to run to charlotte or something. We are still getting around 2500 miles now but looking for a good slow down to come.
