Like when I bought my Kenworth, within 40 miles of driving it home (400 miles away) the clutch bearing disintegrated. Wasn’t a big deal other than needing to shut the truck off every time I stopped.
Anyway, I’ll be happy when I get this #### thing home and can replace some lines. Going to be a rough job I can tell, but at least I’m not in a time crunch.JolliRoger, Rideandrepair, FullMetalJacket and 9 others Thank this. -
Or it is just karma at work. Possibly the same thing in a round about way.

Just goes back the the saying about buying someone else’s problems. Everyone’s susceptible.

I bought a new to me discbine for the farm this spring, and it has been an unmitigated POS ever since I got it home. 1 minor breakdown, and 2 major ones, in less than 15 acres. It’s going away, very far away, very quickly. Looked decent, but wow was that deceiving. I figure my cost in parts alone was right at $100 per acre for how much I’ve used it.

High Stepper, Speedy356, D.Tibbitt and 7 others Thank this. -
I am debating selling my discbine. Have not used it for 5 years. Got rid of cattle. $40k between disc bine, 10 wheel rake, net wrap round baler. Less then 400 round bales. So $100 a bale. Nobody raising cattle. Hay is selling dirt cheap. But if I had cattle I would want a security system, and have shotgun handy.

We do a lot of custom hay work & I was looking at upgrading my inline wrapper. Bid on several used ones online. I didn't really want to jump to a new one. Called a dealer last Friday morning to inquire if he had any used ones. We talked about little while & I traded my old one for a new Anderson IFX720. First job is Saturday for a fellow with 100 acres of wheat & triticale.D.Tibbitt, wore out, exhausted379 and 5 others Thank this.

Watch out for tribbles on way to delivery to Sherman planet.
