Well I may be getting my lucky break sorta

I enrolled in a jobs training program at the Oregon Employment Department. The program of choice? Trucking School.

I don't expect to graduate school with a ton of job offers but I do intend to avoid having to work for a company to pay back schooling costs.

Any advice on places that will hire someone who graduated with good grades from trucking school? I do want to avoid cr england and yes I still have two 16 year old felonies, 1 for recieving stolen property and 1 for perjury.. otherwise clean drive record, no sex, drug, violence crimes.

My uncle who is a trucker said I'll most likely drive teams for awhile untill I get the ropes but thats ok, I just want to avoid cr england which many of you guys told me about plus my uncle said I want to avoid them but either way I'll have to bend over and take one up the ##### for my first year or two...

Well yea I understand a big part of it is business level and the lay offs seem to be based on either performance, seniority or both.. I simply want a chance to prove my self in a field of work I look forward to.

I have talked with both my uncle and his friend who have been truckers for 20+ years and already know theres NO way anyone comes out of school knowing everything, I simply want a good start though.
