Well, I may have ruined my chances.

Okay, I have 2 possession charges, a speeding ticket, a wreckless driving ticket (small fender bender accident), and a burglary conviction. What are my chances?

Honestly, with the number of VERY experienced drivers out there looking to get back into driving.
Coupled with your age, and given record.
Your chances of driving over the road in the near future for any one decent are gone, zero, nada.

OK, now with that out of the way. Getting a local job, driving for a garbage co., beverage distribution, furniture co., are slightly better, but still not good. Try to get with some of the above mentioned employers in a face to face meeting and see what happens.

Usually a small fender bender doesn't get you a reckless driving ticket. :) You already know the answer but you're essentially toast.

The officer told me he had to give me the ticket even though the Mercedes only had a little scratch on the bumper.

You have 4 biggies as far as trucking companies are concerned. #1, they don't want someone that has a history of drugs. #2, they don't want someone that has a history or wreckless driving. And #3, they don't want someone that has a history of stealing things.

This is the way it is. Look it from their perspective. If you have a wreck and injure or kill someone, the other persons lawyers are going to have a field day with them for hiring someone that has drug and wreckless driving convictions. The company will also be looking at you if something goes missing, no matter who took it.

You're still young. These things are still fresh, and at your age they would rightly be concerned about a relapse. I'm not judging you, just telling you how you will be preceived.

You have already been told this but I'll just back it up. Zero and none. Find another line of work.

go to a local construction company. See if you can drive a dumptruck or an enddump. Usually construction companies will overlook felonies to get people in the seats. But keep in mind, you'll be required to do more then just drive.
