funny how many times we read on here "was about to go but then......"
well signed up for Roehl, perfect record, mvr and all that jazz. physical is scheduled for next Mon.
Last night going home some dimwit thought cars only came from the right side so he never looked left. pulled out right in front of me. smash.
now I have to call Roehl and redo the app to add the accident I would assume. no biggies it wasn't my fault. Pretty sure I will have to reschedule the physical. can't move my ankle right now and my back is starting to act up.
he had insurance but apparently in his world valid license plates are optional.
then when I get out of my pickup to survey the damage, his first comment is "I'm glad you're worried about me being ok"
Life goes on, at least I wasn't on my bike.
well that sucks

It's not a preventable in a CMV, so you should be fine. I t-boned a guy back in 09 when he pulled out in front of me, no employers have ever even questioned it.
Dominick253 and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
yeah I figure it won't be an issue, just want to get it known by Roehl and of course have to wait a bit for the physical now

I got rear end by a drunk in my pick up when I was in my early 20's on the way to work. It's about 3:30AM. I see him coming in the mirror, and I know he's not gonna stop. I started going through a red light at the intersection I'm sitting at, made it almost to the other side, BAM. The only option I had on that truck was the steel bumper. This in 1990. The dude is driving a late 80's Monte Carlo, and it's 100% plastic. I get out and look, there is literally not even a scratch on my truck. It looked like dudes car had been hit with a bulldozer, one head light was hanging by the wire harness, still on, pointing at the ground.
He's slurring bad, going " Look what you did to my wife's car." " This is my wife's car."
I started chuckling. I said " Look guy, you just rear ended me while I was sitting at a red light."
He's whining now, " But it's my wife's car."
I said, " You know what guy, I'm not even gonna call the cops. If this your 'ol ladies ride, your in more than enough trouble."
I went to work. -
LOL
Bet she gave him an earful and than some.
Yeah back in the 90 time frame I got rear ended by a SC State Trooper. same thing barely a scratch on my bumper. He was cool and wanted to call it in. there was only light damage on his car. at the time I was a driver in the Army. I told him I didn't need to report it.
If no one noticed the damage on his car all the better for him.
Seems it may have gotten me some good karma with LEO's over the years LOLDave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
