Did my runs yesterday then jumped in the shop pickup and went and picked up the truck. I am readdy to roll now.

Volvos suck, especially the higher topped ones. They rock and roll in the wind and everytime the cab rocks the steering is effected. They are cheaply made. Parts of the inside keep coming loose and rattling.I mean, that Volvo is an 09 and only has 180,000 on it and it is alreaddy falling apart from the inside out. The only thing I liked about it was the spacious cab. You could hold a dance between the front seats. No place to put a thermos though so it has to just roll around on the floor.

I did call Butler Cat and B worded about the power and fuel usage, they were going to check into it and see. It seemed to run pretty good bobtail but we will see once I get a load on her back today.

Well got a couple rounds in today averaging a gross weight of just under 99,000 lbs. Lots of wind so she was pulling hard all day long. Tough to tell if they changed anything as far as power goes. I am down today because of rain stopping the harvest.

Is it easier to drive without the paper bag over you're head so no one could tell who was driving that Volvo?:biggrin_2559:

They replaced the head, all three rocker shafts, jake box etc.

As far as the bag, yeap it is much easier to drive without the bag over my head. It was kind of cutting down on my vision.

Well it is still running, if that means anything. The Cat Dealer did nothing ,that I can tell, as far as power and fuel economy.

That's a bridge motor for you. Complain to Cat about high temps, low power, and lousy economy then pay them big bucks to flash updates. Hello new motor! WTH same motor as the old motor! The only fix is to unbridge it.

    t800kwopper and kenw007 Thank this.
