The Ford "Lightning" pickups have the same battery problem.

my first NEW pick up truck, was a 1980 Chevy C-10, stepside...no power nothing, not even an AM radio, inline 6 cycle engine, and "3 on the tree"....

Victory Red was the color, and i think GM still has that color available..

    $3,600..........off the lot.

nowadays at like $80,000 and MORE....??

they can "stuff it"...i'd rather have 1 vegemite sandwich everyday for the rest of my life, then spend stupid money for any truck.

if i ever need a truck..??

i know where to go, and rent one for the hours i need it.

    bzinger and mjd4277 Thank this.

As @buddyd157 as mentioned,I’m missing the old days (circa mid to late 1990s) when you could get an honest to goodness pickup truck for a decent price, new or used and didn’t have payments costing more than a mortgage!
And they weren’t loaded down with too much electronic stuff that broke down the first chance it got!!
    O how times have changed!

    bzinger Thanks this.
