Is the silver knob the primer? If so you need to feel some resistance there before you try to start it.
The thread I posted said they have a electric lift pump. Try cycling the key on for 10-15sec, then off and back on about a dozen times. Then pump primer.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Are you pumping that primer until it is so stiff you can't pump it anymore?

Was trying to see if you have a davco or not, if you do, it would be way easier. If you have the screw on can't see thru metal filters, if you have a way to take them off and fill em to the brim that is easier... it can take a few tries, it can be frustrating.. at least you'll know how yo remedy the situation if you come across another driver in need or it happens to you again

    Yeah I am
The knob comes off? It’s so greasy I can’t get a firm grip other than to push it like I have been doing. It gets hard to do sometimes.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Prime it until it takes everything you got to push it in the last time and screw it shut. Turn key to run position wait a bit maybe 30 seconds or 1 minute, do not try to start turn back to off. Do that maybe 3 times then cross your fingers and try to crank it up.

All the service truck is going to do is take filter off fill it up, add maybe 10 gallons per side to your tanks, charge batteries and fire it up. If you still have battery power you might be ok yet. Are you pulling a reefer by chance?

Prime the #### out of it. Unplugged his intake heater and gave her just a little ether to get it going. Not ideal but batteries were getting low. Had to get it going.
