Sorry, guess I'm a suspect. I wear gloves and have clean hands. I also trim my fingernails regularly.

So where was that line last year when the shoe was on the other foot?

And if being a broker was so great and they’re all millionaires that why doesn’t every driver become a broker. Apparently that’s where the money is.

That's a real good question. If a driver hates brokers so much, then why use them? If a driver knows how to do it better, then do it.

Every backhaul used to be somebody else’s front haul.

Frustrating when you speak to the backhaulers in person n lay it out n first thing they do is try n chop it up worse.
    “Can’t get those rates”
    “Could do it cheaper”
    “Get all the work”

Might be they’re first rate drivers, but they’re surely lousy businessmen.

Rates are coming back up for me. Just got back from a trip that paid $3.57 to haul 7 pallets. Going to pick up a load tomorrow that pays $3.09 through TQL of all people. My cost is $1.25ish a mile since I own the equipment. I hope the rates stay low for other guys so they sell their rigs which will make for a killer year for me.

Yep. If you don't like Real Estate brokers, sell your house yourself. If you don't like stock brokers, do your own trades online. If you don't like mortgage brokers, go find your own loan. I think I have made my point here.

    spyder7723 and Tombstone69 Thank this.
