Looking for the best lease companies. Ive been a company driver for 3 yrs. I want a company where i can make at least what a company driver would make or more. Im not expecting the big bucks o/o make just the usual anything above 700 after the truck payments ect. Anyone know of a good lease purchase to go with.

There is no such thing. Starting a new thread on this is kind of like whipping a dead horse........
CHHALL3, 77smartin, lots of character and 1 other person Thank this. -
Cardinal Logistics
then look at
Jim Palmer Trucking
I can't give you numbers on Cardinal, because it's been awhile since I sat through their presentation. I signed on as a company driver but 30 or 40 of my friends went with their purchase program and many are still there, 10 yrs. or so, making a good livingLast edited: Oct 19, 2015

Why would you want to take on the responsibility of a lease just to earn the same as a company driver?

@amtrack
There are many threads here that say leasing is a bad idea. And while the freedom to turn down loads and put shiny stuff on your truck seems like a good deal, the bottom line is many lease programs are being taken to court. A lease operator is not an owner operator. For the vast majority of companies you can't choose to haul freight for someone else, you live and die by your dispatches from that company.
I can't blame you for letting the numbers turn your head. I held 2 leases. Did okay with both of them, though I turned the last one in after needing a complete overhead at 300k. But I did the numbers. I wasn't making more than a company driver most weeks - and we were a hubby/wife team.
The numbers are deceiving. It may seem like a bunch of money, but the expenses - are - well - expensive. I paid 140k in fuel alone one year.
I am not going to tell you don't do it. I'm not your mother. But I will say - one driver to another- please, please check the numbers.viper822004, CHHALL3, Cottonmouth85 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'm not a fan of leasing but I did hear positive things about KLLM, Schneider, and Hirschbach Trucking. There is a lady trucker who leases at Hirschbach and does Youtube videos and she's very happy there. Whatever you decide be careful, leases can go bad real quick.

I leased a townhouse once.... that was a pretty good deal, around $700.
Leased a BMW for a couple years, also not bad....Flatbed Valkyrie, mp4694330, Straight Stacks and 4 others Thank this. -
Lease definition from a reputable source;
Usually a program to buy somthing you give payments of money to keep the object for a while but not actually buying, but nowa days kids have turned the word Lease into a word that may mean "give" or "bring it to me"
"Yo g i just got diz ill #### shoes for fity dollas off a truck u down?"
"Yo LEASE me somma doz i needs em" -
To those who actually are listing companies thank you. To those who like to waste their useless time writing abt how horrible a lease is... dont you have anything better to do than repeat the same nonsense.
kbarttt and CJndaTruck Thank this. -
Don't you have anything better to do than to ask the same nonsense questions? Your asking the same group of people as well...... You know now that I think about you should sign the first lease someone throws down in front of you. You will make good money and be your own boss!!! I hear C.R. England is the place for independent pros like you! Go show us how its done!
