If you live upstate they will most likely use you to go to canada but you will still get paid cheap i was still wondering if werner still pay drivers 0.26 to 0.28 cpm for real for real because you need to drive 100 miles to make 28$ that's not a living even if you have no family or they mean to tell me that guy flip burgers and home everyday and i drive for werner 900 miles away from home all the time and we average the same every week that's not right.

Your going to Canada. Why in the hell are you going to work for Werner? That's a really bad idea in my opinion.
Anyway to answer your question your going to Canada and you'll be doing it a lot I'll bet. -
Werner has a lot of cross border freight in / out of Ontario , also have a small yard & office someplace around Toronto

To be honest with you,its really scarey especially if no training for it.My very first load with Werner was Canada.I did everything just right with a lot of help. But coming from someone at that time who couldn't read a map, could'nt understand a single thing on the QUALCOMM.Just make sure to ask drivers along the way and what ever you do,make sure to call Werner for Canada Briefing, that is mandatory and could result in termination if you don't.They will also help you. That firse week was a nitemare even though I did everything right. If you don't want to do Canada runs just mention that to your dispatcher,he will find someone else.Guess Werner thought I did such a good job they gave me Canada loads every other week for over a yr.

YES! I was hoping they would send me into Canada I will tell my dispatcher Im ready and willing I always wanted to see the North Country
