Starchdoggy, I'm sorry if you can't read the information I referred for investment verification.
For those of you that can: After reviewing Werner's annualized dividends, open stock prices, fiscal reports compared to Werner's taxes (for the past five years)......please complete a "cross sectional analysis" to assess competitor stock prices and capital gains. The reality is very apparent over the past five years of reported fiscal numbers, Werner's annual to five year projection reports and the real fiscal numbers. If you're an investor, you've only lost money. Worse, Werner's drivers have lost their time....you can never get time back if you've been working for Werner and/or C.R. England for 15+ yrs or 23+ yrs for slave wages. But smart investors know how to get their money back......

The OP states that working for Werner will result in a direct loss of income, yes I can provide documents to contradict that statement. As for the rest you are right I can no more provide documents that prove or disprove that Werner trains dispatch to coerce drivers to do illegal things, wants you to get tickets and will not repair a truck than the OP can.
So to answer your question I would say yes I have done a little research and probably more than the OP, but that still just remains to be my opinion.
Your hunch would be right, I don't have the expertise in that field to care enough to do so. However here are a few links to reports from people that have done so and you can read them and form your own opinions as I have mine.
and here is one that the OP should have read before starting as should anybody considering getting a CDL and wanting to drive for any company.
OK, where I am now employed I make a salary of about 45k/year. (less than I ever made at Werner if you care) I work 5 days a week Monday - Friday. I do not work any major holidays and do get paid for them. I also get the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and my birthday as paid holidays. I am out for 2 or 3 nights a week but I stay in a hotel not a truck. If I tell them of anything my truck needs they fix it, they are even considering a new seat because I do not like the one that is in it. If something happens while I am out I have a card for repairs or what ever items the truck may need. They do not want me do anything unsafe or illegal as their bonuses as well as mine rely on not doing so and we all want our bonuses. I have never put in more than 55 hours in a week however also never less than 46 so for now, yes salary tops my list.
I am not asking anybody to ignore anything. Are you asking me to read the original post and to just believe it? In my humble opinion I think I know better so I choose to not believe most of what the op states. While there are some valid points raised, I feel there is also a whole lot of crap. Once again just my opinion, you are welcome to take it or leave it, the choice is yours and yours alone.
Now to the Original post

AfterShock Thanks this.
I am truly sorry that your experience as a "USA Long Haul Truck Driver" was not what you expected it to be. I sincerely wish you luck in your quest to eliminate all the evil trucking companies and to make the world of driving A-OK for everybody. If there is anything I can do to help feel free to let me know and I will see what I can do. I will not however lie for you or make accusations that I cannot back up.
Thank you and have a great day.
I worked for CR England and I now work for Werner. My experience above with bothe of these companies does not agree. I will say that CR England will harras you and push you on your hours. Werner has not once pushed me to drive when I did not want to. I have had different divisions with Werner and different dispatchers and I have never been asked to do anything that was unsafe with Werner. I will say that both companies have the lowest pay in the industry, I do not want to train and bothe of them ask you to train to make more money. These companies just need to stop being so greedy and just pay people a living wage not a slave wage. I have been with Werner and driven over 100,000 miles and my paycheck stub says 15K and CR England runs the biggest scam trying to get you to lease there trucks. What a sad state of business practices these companies are up to, get your years experience and get out.
Listing Werner and/or C.R. England on your resume will not necessarily help you get a better job. If you attended A.I.T., (a Werner sponsored CDL-A training school) it's really not a good idea to list it on your resume, either.
After interviewing with several reliable trucking companies (that I researched and verified), their Hiring Managers were very direct in admitting they don't like to hire drivers from Werner or C.R. England (even if a driver is very qualified) because they are simply recognized disreputable organizations.
The best option might be to list references from your school and capitalize on your MVR, DAC and DOT records; if Werner and/or C.R. England hasn't ruined those for you, too.
The entire process of getting new truck drivers is very criminally syndicated.
Drivers aren't the only ones who are aggravated. Just be real amicable and talk with their customers when you complete your load deliveries. I found Werner's customers to be really honest; they don't have any reason to lie to you....they are just happy you made their delivery....but generally speaking, they're not happy with Werner because Werner can't honestly manage their customers from a sales perspective, either.
I found it better to network with other drivers, customers and several distribution centers when I got a job regionally in SoCal.
Good luck to all you drivers on the road.
As for Mark and other business owners, you'd be better off not admitting in public that you are an owner of Werner and/or C.R. England since you run organizations based on slave wages and criminal coercion. Have a nice day, Mark.
