And there we have it, from the mouth of the inside knowledge...?touting the given line from the orientation department...who works hand in hand with the recruiters?:biggrin_25526:

Must be going to be rough in China!

    R's are pronounced like L's, and L's like R's :biggrin_2559:

I'm not quite sure what you mean by your statement... I certainly don't work "hand in hand" with recruiters at Werner unless you mean that I talked to one when I went back to work for them as a driver trainee.

Exactly...you got your information from orientation...we all know that recruiters lie (or at least exaggerate the real happenings), and what they tell you in orientation, will prove out to also be an exaggeration of what is actually happening.

For quite sometime I've read your posts. I've been impressed by them due to the fact that they are well done and factual. But, on this one you are way off base.
You are entirely incorrect with your statement that I got my information from a recruiter or in orientation. I got no information from a recruiter or in orientation about anything regarding what Werner does internationally. After all, why would they even talk about something that most drivers or drivers to be would have no interest in?
Werner's international division is in their Value Added Services division. Before I decided to drive, I worked for VAS. That's how I know about it, and I do read and stay up to date about the company. You and anyone else reading this can believe it or not. I have no reason to lie about where I've obtained any information about Werner. I don't understand what the issue is anyway.

Sorry, I didn't know you were 'office staff' with the group prior to being a driver "in making"...I ASSUMED...and we all know what that means...

LOL I wasn't "office staff" and I'll let it go at that. Thanks for your great posts, I truly enjoy reading them.

At home sitting on the couch for now. But thanks.
