    SUCKING A LOT...

Okay exaggeration, but not that great. Keep your behindout of late loads and you will be better off.

Miles are pretty good for me in this economy. I am not with Werner. With all things cosidered, Werner drivers start out ham strung with having on board log recorders. If the entire industry was doing them, then it wouldn't be an issue. Until then, Werner drivers are at a distinct disadvantage. And with the economy not firing on all cylinders, any disadvantage will really hit you in the wallet.

    Good Luck.

We are a team, the last 3 weeks our miles were:

    Week 1: 2200
    Week 2: 1200
    Week 3: 1500

    We usually get 4000-6000

Do you get the feeling you should be looking elsewhere? That is down right criminal for a team to get that few miles. I am averaging each week as a solo what you did for the first 2 weeks. Someone in operations is sure not doing their job. I haven't slowed down all year, so I know that there is freight out there.

Of course, you know that even though you are not getting the miles you should, someone in the office is getting a bonus. Doesn't that make you sick!

    Thats a good thing...I think.

I got a call this week, about my November miles. I got only 6600 for the month. And there was concern, up until I reminded them I had 11 total days at home for the month, 9 in one stretch :D

For the record all companies over so and so many trucks will be doing paperless logs within the next 2 years, scheider is going over next year, and I believe swift is too so...

They terminated us over late loads.

And we were already pretty darn close to quitting (in fact I threatened to at one point the day before they fired us).
