slidng pay, starts low and slides off from there. in some areas any run over 501 miles is 19 cents a mile. you can get 500 a week but just not evry week. some weeks you may get 175. an werner will work you where they want to work you no matter what area you put in for, at least until you get a lane.

    vmaggs Thanks this.

I just talked to a werner recuiter who said the western 11 paid .26 - .44 cpm sliding scale. I am a recent driving school grad looking for first company. Not yet sure about werner...

Had a recruiter come to our class yesterday and say the same thing?? Does anyone know if Werner provides their pay in writing?

If you ask for their payscale in writing, they might be willing to email it to you. Just keep in mind that the 44cpm will be for the shortest trips, most likely under 25-50 miles.

They give you a choice between a few pay options during your prehire interview on the phone. I just went with the fixed pay since most of the new driver runs are 300 miles or so.
