I drive for a small fleet and spot trailers on Saturday. Saturday morning a Werner truck pulled in, not sure if they had a LP truck (dark blue 387) or a company truck, anyway this guy ran the whole time he was on the property. Is this due to paperless logs?
Werner question.

Paperless logs have nothing to do with idling like that. There could have been a number of reasons for the driver to idle the truck. Weak batteries would be one reason. Another could be running the AC. It's hard to say why a driver would idle like that.
-
Sorry for the confusion. The driver himself was running, back and forth from the office and around the trailer. The truck was alittle beat uo, just thought maybe he should slow down.
-
Oh! Hyperactive maybe? I can't say, but still, I don't think paperless logs was the reason. It's a rare driver that will actually run!
Are any of the office staff good looking?
When I was with Werner, most of the trucks were beatup a little. -
No, just Pete and Art.

This is a completely pointless thread. Just some guy bein' a wise ###.

Not being a wise ###. I was told that with paperless logs every minute counts. Just asking a question, no sense in being a horse's ###. I have not run a log book in years, let alone paperless. I appreciate you chiming in.

Was there a Knight truck or trailer on the lot? If so, he could have been running from them...
