Werner Training??????

Well, with all the government regulations in effect or being put into effect. Anything can change. Companies are bounded by goverment rules. It would be in their best interest to follow them.

 

Werner changed the way they pay their trainers. If the trainer is a poor driver or if the students he/she trained are poor drivers (tickets, accidents, HOS vilations, Late loads) the trainer looses CPM. However if the trainer is a good trainer and puts out good students, the trainer gains CPM. So all in all, werner is trying to get its bad trainers out of the program by making it non feesible for them to train. Bad trainers would have to take a HUGE paycut to keep training, its not gonna happen. Its all for the good of the students.
