Ok.. So I just turned in my tractor after 16 months with them.
I mostly enjoyed my time with them.
From training when I had an issue with my first trainer and they had another to me the next day once I called.
To my second trainer becoming one of my most trusted friends today.
The team training aspect was difficult. I didn't sleep too well some days. Fortunately I had previous truck experience and could muster out those days.
Solo. 1st truck was a bucket as it should have been.
I sucked it up until the truck needed more work than it was worth.
They assigned me a 2016 kw t680 with auto and 28k miles.
Great truck.
Werner ALWAYS does maintenance when due on tractors and repairs when breakdown is reported.
ALWAYS.
PAY.
I was content.
Made close to 60k .
Worked my ### off for it.
Even otr I was seeing 1k pre tax a week.
Im greatful they gave me a chance.
It was just time to come home to my girl and family.
Buyer beware on the dollar accounts.
They're ok... But some of the drama with them isn't worth it.
Best be in physical shape.
Thanks!
Werner

The new CEO has really done a good job trying to change the culture and reputation of Werner.
Like I said.. At least my experience was mostly good.
Granted I have that old school work ethic.
They did treat me fair. Especially being a number in a 7500 power unit fleetRocknroller4 and thejackal Thank this. -
