So that setup there I see the neck comes off the jeep does it go on the main trailer when not using the jeep?

    Much appreciated.

Yes im looking into the market. A loadmaster Trailer seems to offer the most versatility, highest payload, most functionality, and efficiency for the market im in and wish to pursue.

I still have yet to understand how the 9+ axle trailers get their ROI in a reasonable timeframe.

Yes. in 15 minutes. I bought a spare short neck and used it on the jeep, then I could move scrapers with the jeep & dolly while the other truck pulled the 16 wheel lobed. I also hauled the USFS TD-18 on just the jeep to get around those forest service roads.

So the fifth wheel is easily removable from the jeep?

So you pulled the fifth wheel and used it to haul scrapers?

A new Loadmaster is probably gonna run $225K? Just a wild guess. But you can get a long deck, short, 8-6 wide 10' wide, hyd tower. lots of options. BUT, getting a 60 ton excavator "up the neck" on a short deck is exciting. And the counterweight gets high. Scan_0094.jpg
