Ummm, silly question, but does building the hoover dam and shipling the colorado river off to a desert count as "climate change" cause that one certainly seems like its not helping

And davis, and parker, and the one above yuma

So, the only reason you'd move back to China is if it became totally unlivable here? Somehow, that doesn't say much for China. Kind of a desperation destination?

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.

No, I'd prefer China over Viera, FL
I'd have to buy a home in Viera, but already own 3 in China that are paid for.

Don't know why the "super adobe" concept isn't still widely accepted. Nader Khalili's brainchild in Hesperia is an awesome place. Sandbags, barbed wire and mostly local materials.

Call me a conspiracy nut. But I think plans for sustainable housing like that are stalled due to all the money involved with traditional construction. Lumber, stucco, and all other manner of physical construction.

The super adobes and earthship homes are by no means primitive. Wire and pipe them up and you've got a house. I just think if one's going to live in the desert, they got to match the landscape.
