I am interested in finding out the mileage per week that drivers from different companies are getting in the western 11 states and the amount of time they are sitting and waiting for loads.

I work for Knight Transportation(dry van). My milage varies from 2400-3200 a week. I'd say 2700 would be the average. Sitting not usually the problem, slow moving freight can be. What I mean is you deliver say monday night, get a load that picks up tomorrow going 300 miles and delivers on wednesday. Lately freight has been better although Texas is a real dead spot for Knight it seems.

Up side is I get home on average every 7 days.
