Western Express Driver Fontana

Full disclosure: I’m now a trainer, but not a recruiter. There’s lots of companies that may work for you and I’d suggest you explore them all. @Chinatown is the most helpful person I’ve met. He may have some suggestions as well. I look forward to hearing from you.

 

Do they test you in an auto?

 

Yes. Both test trucks are autos in the Bloomington, Ca terminal. I don’t know about the other locations.

 

I'm considering going with WE. My other option is May Trucking but to be honest I've read bad things about them too and the fact I did a one day orientation at May and left right after, doubt it is any better. May is reefer or van (48 or Western). Western Express I just wanna do the van division but no terminals near house unlike May Trucking which is just down the road. Would you chose a company with a terminal nearby?

Does WE force dispatch? I do like how they leave you alone for the most part. How are they when the weather is bad? They won't fire you for not running in a snow storm will they?

I'd have to get a greyhound down to Fontana for the orientation next week.
