Western Express Nashville

there is a whole threat on western express on here, just read up on it, it will tell u everything about them

 

Lol i used to take load to a warehouse behind their yard and i used to hear their drivers pissed off and over half their trucks were parked...

 

Dont sound right to me.....heard alot of there drivers quit within a few .months of employment....i thought you had 35 years under your belt

 

from my personal observances, Western Express is becoming the new Swift, in driver stupidity, carelessness, and dangerous driving techniques, and driving in the wrong direction inside of the truck stop parking lots. (God, what i have been seeing from these morons/idiots).

i steer (literally) very clear of those idiots.

personally, i think you can do better.

now for the record, there may be more than one company by the name, Western Express.

Not all drivers for WX are morons . I have been with them for 2 years. I have an excellent DM as well as Terminal manager. I drive Northeast and get home every weekend. My pay is 3 times what I I use to make and I am staying right where I am. We have our share of bad drivers and THEY are the ones at fault for our bad safety rating. I do as I'm told and in return I am treated with respect and given the opportunity to always improve my standings. I have quite a number of clean inspections and have learned a lot in my short time on the road. I have more to learn and always try to learn more everyday. I know quite a few drivers at WX and am confidant to run behind, beside and in front of them. There are bad drivers and good drivers everywhere. Not just WX.

 

Honestly, I dont know when i last saw one of their trucks otr... I noticed ups j.b hunt and swift has most of the freight and of course schnider will hire anybody...

this is true, but i have to deal with these/those morons and idiots on a nightly basis. i travel I-95/I-495 here in New England, so i see A LOT of western express, and from what i have seen, well....maybe you're one of the few that actually know how to drive, on the road and in the truck stop parking lot. to some of the Western Express drivers, they seem to think the speed limit in the truck stop parking lot is 65 mph, and going thru the fuel island the wrong way is normal, especially after they just weighed on the CAT Scale, rather than go OUT OF the parking lot, and coming back in.

but as i have said, and i'm sticking to it, Western Express is becoming the "new" Swift. until i see better from them, they will always be thought of this way, and i ain't alone. even the truck stop employees speak badly of Western Express. i know, i was there when they were speaking, and freely gave my observations.

it is sad that the actions of a few, make it bad for all the good ones, much like what Swift has done, and Werner as well.
