don't be greedy. you'd still be able to retire at a quarter a piece.

 

words of truth . trust me i know. i had to start somewhere though. they treated me good at first but as time went on they got worse. they also had the lease purchase program. i wanted to do this at one time but they said it was only for new drivers. kinda backwards i thought since the drivers that were already there should have that choice first. now that i am out of there, it would take a lot of desperation to get me to go back there. never say never so that is my next choice in words on how i feel about them.

 

only for new drivers? wow...

Perhaps you should have taken your own advice, sir (or madame). There are plenty of reports about Western Express, here and elsewhere.

 

western express, etc, they are there to get your exp and get out if you dont like it, but alot of you constantly fail and always will.

because you dont do your job, you ##### moan and complain instead of just sucking it up and getting it done.

that place is full of nothing but drivers that are complete #########, or like me needed a refresher course.

listening to those whinny ### full grown men all the time, seeing the same faces at that motel, always having an excuse why they were at the room chilling instead of out running miles.

same faces sitting around the terminals too, 'oh i refused that load, i wont haul trash out of NYC'

'oh they wanted me to run 1k miles, man i cant take that load i dont have enough clock or w/e there bs story was'

this just in, when #### gets hard people get to ######## and quitting or w/e.

i heard all the stories, man i dont wanna do NYC, well get out of trucking then.

man i dont wanna live in the north east, well you shouldnt have been a ##### and went to the flatbed division then, but lifting a tarp hard i know.

list goes on, nothings perfect cupcake.

 

But, they will give you a job when no other company will give you the time of day. That's a pretty good deal for some deadbeat no-load drivers. Sure, they also get some great drivers that take advantage of the refresher course or just happen to like working there.
