That is true not sustainable being solo. I just wanted to know if there is money left over in the account it should go to the lessee. I wonder what is in the contract about that?

That was my question I pretty sure if you need a repair on the road that money will be used. Do remember it's not your truck so they control the final decision. The leaving & if the left over money comes with that's $$$?

There is not a maintenance account the way your thinking. No escrows. You get no money back. I know you're cringing right now. But even if you blow a tire on your first day out... it's covered. No money out of your pocket and no going in the negative because you had to get an advance to get your truck towed. If course being a new truck you have a new truck warranty. But those warranties don't cover everything that could go wrong. Is it a perfect system? Naw. But it's working for me at this time. I'm still making more money than I did as a company driver. And since I had enough reefer experience already I got to get one of the pretty W900's.

Only when it comes to the large cars. You can get a large car as a flat bedder. But if you want it for reefer you have to have like 3 years previous experience with reefer to get one. Otherwise it's an aero truck (cascadia, volvo, t680).

Is it more brokerage freight than dedicated customer freight?

How is the running on the flatbed side if you talk any of your coworkers on that side.
