    Greetings,

    I’m looking around at different industries to create something that solves a pain. No pet rocks or fart apps crap… but something that will make you more money, or life easier, month after month.

    While researching I was surprised by how much technology is in your industry, AND HOW MANY #### REGULATIONS YOU GUYS DEAL WITH!!!

    FMSCA, IFTA, FHWA… plus more caps on the number of hours you can be on duty, etc. Not to mention yo-yo diesel prices. It’s gotta be tough out there.

    So now I’m looking for your opinions and ideas. Do you currently use any software? What things really frustrate you about regulations, or running your business? What 1 or 2 things do you wish that snapping your fingers could just go away... or change drastically?

    Interested in your thoughts, and don’t pull any punches.

    Just about everything can annoy me depending on the day. I especially hate when no body wants to run the speed limit. Especially when their in the hammer lane and won't run.

    How about a button that you can push after 2 hours on a dock that automatically blows all the freight right out the back of the trailer? Then signs your bills and makes them appear in your cab?

    All good points, but curious about day-to-day frustrations that can be changed. That thing for the business you have to do regularly and hate. What about any software you use? There's always pain around software, especially if having to use something mandated for your business that sucks. Or maybe the paperwork?

    Create a nationwide reporting system on shippers and receivers. Verified waiting times and rolling averages to make the data true. Add driver access to the data so they can better plan their time.
