That’s what I told my dispatcher. I said they are holding up our truck for $100 worth of product. I just don’t get it

Seen stuff rejected for some really questionable reasons. Had a former coworker deliver chicken to a location. They told him it was going to be rejected because it was almost frozen.

When I was at Morehouse i did alot of work for con agra frozen foods , delivery at the wal mart DC in tomah Wisconsin i had an appropriate 25 case overage of these nasty looking fajita bowls that I spent about 36 hours trying to get rid of , some went to a cold storage in Rochelle Illinois and the rest went in a dumpster because the food pantry didn't even want them.

Well, this isn't quite your question, but I sat for an hour or so at Walmart DC in Beaver Dam, WI while they reconciled what they unloaded vs. the bol. After they marked all the overage, I went to the next stop, the DC in Menomonee. Sure enough, Beaver Dam's overage was exactly the same as the shortage at Menomonee!

My bosses policy is 5 cases of less, do what I want. Anything over that, if food goes to a local bank and to get a receipt of sorts he needs for taxes? If non food usually has me take it to a LTL hub to have them deal with taking wherever. Wait times vary depending on what hubs are nearby that will work with him, but I've waited all day for something to be worked out.
