What’s with diesel prices?

I always have to pay IFTA for not purchasing in Ca. I compare base prices before taxes and Ca is always above the neighboring states. Even though I always have an IFTA bill, it’s still a savings over purchasing anything in Ca. I made it a point this quarter to not purchase a dimes worth in Ca.

I can get fuel in CA today for 2.13 net before ifta. Out of pocket today would be 2.89. CA miles are what they are. If you drive here you're going to pay the ifta.

Pa is the same way. Really high fuel tax, but ya gonna pay that fuel tax regardless so gotta buy where thre cheapest pre ifta price is.
