I like the whole state of Iowa. It's got the perfect combination of not so rural where nothing is around (like Wyoming) but no so urban where people are living on top of each other (Newark/NYC). It's the most truck friendly state in that most places will have truck parking and most of the small town Walmarts are cool with you getting groceries there. Bunch of small mom and pop truck stops in the state. Plenty of rest areas too and on I-80 you have rest areas every 30 minutes, plus the big Iowa 80 stop by Davenport.

For that reason alone my vote goes to the whole state of Iowa.

That stretch sucks and the traffic is never ending. In fact I'll go as far as to say from Atlanta to Nashville just straight up sucks lol. I-24 only gets better once you get passed Nasvhille.

Are they still doing construction on the GA/TN border by Chattanooga where the speed limit is something like 45 MPH and NOBODY obeys the construction speed limit? Or did they finally finish that construction there?

I believe so..its been a while since I've gone through there, being from that way, the traffic doesn't bother me so bad. It's all about when you travel through there, and if going eastbound, the traffic tapers off for a bit past Murfreesboro. I liked the scenery, going past Murfreesboro, then crossing the river prior to getting into Chattanooga

Lately I've been enjoying running i95 a lot...I know those words are said often. But there's no major cities for about 600mi between Richmond and Jacksonville. It's relaxing to see the swamps and tidal wetlands of SC and GA with their glassy water in the morning....now I sound like Thoreau.

You can get from Laramie to Cheyenne Wy while leaving the stick in neutral for most of the way.
