So Cal. (Calexico or Ontario area) to Ohio. Once I make it past Needles going 58mph, it is pretty much clear sailing across the I-40/I-44 thru St Louis. Up to the I-70 and head towards Chillicothe, OH. Good money run in my book. I'll take that run any day of the week.
What’s your favorite route to run

SLC south thru Moab to the ABQ. Absolutely love that area. Anyting west of Texas on I-10 and I-40, I-15 thru the gorge, US 89 (I think) north out of Flagstaff up to I-15 (again, I think). Pretty much anything in the desert southwest. And the PCH.

The best place to run is I-94 leaving Wisconsin and heading west. You go out past Minneapolis and west to Fargo ND then it really open road to Montana and onto the Northwest. No so much fun in winter but spring and summer and fall it a fun drive

I noticed the rates east west felt kinda light especially across the Rockies.
N/S most anyplace in Central time zone seamed more favorable.
On occasion when bribed to go to TX, I would look for a load headed up toward MI that I could reset over the weekend then high rate to Socal and better rate north toward home.
I typically could pull a better average rate running a N/S triangle. PNW to Vegas to Socal then back north. -
I never had a favorite or a place I hated. I had rather not be in the LA basin, Chicago, or crossing the GWB! I went where I was sent and made the best of it!
