Is conway a good company? After school they want me to be with trainer for 3 weeks after which time I'll be driving the lower 48. Is three weeks loooong enough go over the road (solo)? this is the only driving option i was given. they pay better than swift, werner and guarantee a minimum of 2500 miles a week. Hope to hear back from someone, thanks![]()

That 2500 mile a week promise is written in soap and it's raining
Conway is a good company though, three weeks can be plenty or not near enough depending on you. They won't let you out on your own if your trainer thinks you are not capable of doing the job. Overall a good company and I would recommend them over any of the indentured servitude carriers out there any day of the week. -
Thanks slod I appreciate your honesty and about the "soap" i'll definately try not to bend over and get ! if you know what i mean. I will bring that issue up with the recruiter next time we talk. The only kind of "indenturement" I'd ever be interested in is if most of my teeth fall out! ... Conway has a great dental plan I hear!

LOL, don't take it the wrong way, it's a #### good company with top notch equipment. I just never got the miles solo with them so I started running teams for them. Now I made a killing there running teams but there were just a few issues I couldn't resolve so I left and starting running solo pulling a skateboard and am pretty happy now.
If I had it to do all over again, I still would have started there. Their training program is excellent and they prepare you for a lot of things. Now granted, you can't be prepared for everything in 7500 miles like you would hope (read your first solo run to NYC lol) but it's still a #### good place. If it wasn't, they wouldn't have a wall stacked with 1-3 million milers. It just wasn't the place for me. Good luck with it.
