what about this western star???????? first time buyer

    I'm curious.... just what kind of mpg's are you looking for? If that E cat does 6's consistantly then that's good ....... on the other end take a look at MVT's trucks with all the hubcaps , skirts and aero tails, that's a 9.??mpg truck. But it's a pro star.

    There's going to be a trade off here somewhere.......

    That's a nice truck for that money. Looks like it only ran 50K per year if those miles are correct. I believe that's pre freightliner isn't it?

    Yeah this is one of the good ones, Pre Freightliner. Any conventional truck with a big CAT from this era will get 5.5 - 6.0 mpg. If you are looking for efficiency you need to look at aero configurations and find a lot more cash. Lookin' cool has its price.
