No, mine works quite well.

 

that's about the only thing a 100w panel would be good for. if a guy hooks up a meter to see the actual output of the panel it would be obvious.

I'm about to get some thermoking solar panels installed, they have a 5 year warranty and they are super sensitive, if it's barely twilight they will produce charge, they will even make charge under LED street lights. Tripac alternator is getting too unreliable to lean on for the only power source, when it wants to work it pushes 13.5 for days at a time, when it doesn't want to work it pushes 12.4 and just runs and runs and runs for hours until it either dies with an alt error or the freakin low voltage circuit trips while the useless thing is still running...I'm thinking about getting the 65 amp swapped for the 120 amp and have the tech redo all the wiring all the way to the batteries, for the first year I had heavy hotel loads on it + AC like a freezer and it never had a single problem. 1.5 years of water/salt/sand/dust and it's a daily surprise if I'll have power/AC or not.
