I'm not saying it's not junk but what do you do when there is nothing but junk in your yard to choose from? Your missing the point here. New guy p&d, by so bonus district where they spend less money, you aren't gonna get the nice t680 the line haul guy gets that, you aren't gonna get the decent cascadia the guy with years in gets that, you get whatever is left over. I was in the same district as most of ny so I first hand know how it works up there.

Sucks; tell them 100 times not to put mayo on it and they insist, "Everyone likes mayo."
Opened the sandwich and there was mayo oozing all over the place. Will never eat there again.

I'll drive beater junk if the pay & benefits are right.
The reason I never applied at UPS is because I like irregular route OTR refrigerated trucking.
I'm willing to sacrifice a little pay for job satisfaction.

Youre driving it cause your T880 is in the shop. I’m convinced that the real Kenworth begins at T880. Sweet truck.

It’s true about UPS. Extremely good pay long hauls.
Might also look at oil field? Lots of junk companies. Lots of problems. But the money is there.

The money is there locally too. I never made under 94k/year p&d. But there is a large amount of worn out trucks in the fleet and I think that may be a problem for the op unfortunately. I hope not and he can go there, make it work, and provide a kick ### life for his family but as soon as that knucklehead hit his truck it was all tears about the junk truck and unfortunately at UPS that is 99% of the fleet nation wide. That being said you get paid extremely well to drive that junk.....back to my earlier comment....I get paid to get #### on lol.

A guy might find out that he could overlook a little junk if the money is right.
Heck for the right money I would deliver freight on foot dragging a little red wagon.
Money is what we drive for, or at least what I always drove for, not the ride.

I got a buddy who was working local and wasn't really making that much. His gf had their baby and then threatened to leave him over money issues. Few months go by he gets a job at Walmart as a driver and now you couldn't pry her away with a crowbar.
