You couldn’t have. At that time the LTL fleets wanted somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 years exp, as opposed to now where any no-driving idiot with a pulse can come aboard and lower the average IQ of the terminal.

    Nope.

Those weight loss medications lose effectiveness over time.

My gastritis is a far bigger problem than obesity.

That's not true boss. I could've went LTL early on and didn't because I was worried about getting laid off. We've got guys that haven't driven for anyone but OD and they've been here over 25 years.

5# brush and floss your teeth before you go to sleep on every 10 hr break -----

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. For the first several years that I worked as a trucker, I would only brush my teeth when I showered. I had lots of teeth decay so badly that I had to get crowns put over them. Now I cannot eat Protein energy bars because they pull my crowns out. So I have to stop more frequently to eat and make significantly less money.

Doctor told me to drink this 3 times a day vs snacks. I drink the Vanilla Bean flavor, but can get chocolate & plain also. I buy it at Sam's Club

It helps me a little. Protein powder & Jardiance.
You can try the Protein powder & weight loss pills/medication.
All the food I eat in a day adds up to about one meal.
I added this last week; again recommended by my doctor. Bought a bottle of each; seem to be the same. I'll try one for awhile, then switch even though they're the same.

I'm not unhealthy or overweight, but do get a full physical every year, including blood work and full body MRI. A little overboard maybe, but that's my routine.
