    I get mine tomorrow. What is your pressure? Do the CPAP machines know when you are asleep or do they just know when they're in use?

    Even better does it ramp up quietly as you fall asleep or does it fill you like a balloon wind keeping you awake?

    Im asking these questions because I don't know anything about CPAP... much...

    My pressure is 15 or 15 cmH2o. Then I have another pressure of 11 or 11cmH2o so it more easily to breath out, it lowers the pressure to 11cmH2o. I have a Bipap 2 pressure setting. The first pressure of 15 is the same as any CPAP.

    It does not know if your sleeping. It just know when in use.

    It ramps up quietly you can change the ramp up time to 1-45 minutes if you want. I have mine set for 15 minutes. First time using CPAP I was amazed how much more air your can breath

    I just prescribed a pressure of 14. I really hope that it works.
