    an incident is like when you bust the pins off a trailer door or knock someone's mirror off ... a accident is when you hit the wrong pedal after knocking someones mirror and it bust the pins off your trailer door as you separate his cab from the chassis

    An incident is where one does damage to the vehicle, or another vehicle or property.
    An accident is where one does damage to the vehicle, or another vehicle or property.

    If you notice those are similar, well they are. In both cases the wreck should not have happened as very few are actually "accidents", They are the odds of something going wrong from poor driving hitting.

    No, people that try and make the distinction are simply trying to lie to themselves to make it not so bad that they were in a wreck.
