A lot of the trucks have inverters in them already. I have an 1800w inverter in my truck that comes with the apu unit. I'm not sure what wattage they are putting in the newer trucks. As far as the fridge goes, I believe only the 12v cooler types. TV and Microwave, are whatever your inverter can handle. I have a 700w microwave in mine. I don't have a tv. If your truck doesn't have an inverter and you want one, unless it's a 12v plug in they will have to install and it costs you, not sure how much over $100 though. As far as CB Radios go, I don't think they really care too much, there is something in the manual about legal cb's but if your cb is modified I don't see how they would really know one way or the other.

Linear amps are what isn't allowed, they are also very illegal. You think an overweight ticket is bad, just let the fcc catch you throwing out 1000 watts of power on a c.b. frequency when the maximum legal is 5 watts.

Yes they are, most of the time. As long as you work safe, and are willing to follow the rules (they have a rule book, that they update quarterly) you can do well there. They are in the process of replacing both the tractors and alot of the trailers. They have a van, refer, curtainside and flatbed divison. They also have some regional fleets for van and flat. check out their web site at goroehl.net for all the low down. Just to be sure you understand Roehl is a trucking company, so bad things do happen from time to time... They do treat the drivers pretty well though.
