What appliances will work with standard inverter?

    Induction cooktops are very hz sensitive.

    Standard frequency of residential electricity is 60hz +/- 1hz.

    The power you have available with the inverter is sufficient.

    So your problem is most likely that you're using a modified sign wave inverter as opposed to a pure sign wave which will give you the proper frequency.

    Good thread folks. Keep it going. I only boil water occasionally for coffee, noodles and this thing I upgraded with 14 ga. is a fire hazard without upgrade It sucks a lot of juice
