Search for companies with names like Bottomfeeder Express. That’s probably what you’re looking at for jobs. Someone will probably take you but don’t expect to make much until you have some clean time behind the wheel under your belt.

 

@Davo25 you ought to check with second chance companies such as Carolina cargo, western express or try craigslist and work for an owner op. Also calling at @Chinatown he can maybe provide more companies to choose from.

Do you plan to attend a private or community college cdl school?

 

There will be some of the upper eschelon companies that may not touch you, but if this is all you have and it was 5 years ago you shouldn't have an issue finding a job.

Word of advice though: make sure that the dui and such is in your past and stays in your past. Drugs and dui are worse than murder in this business, tbh.
