Call the recruiter and talk to her personally. Many times they bend their own rules. If they have online application, submit that and then call. Tell her you're checking on your job application.

Another example concerning websites; many trucking companies websites aren't up to date and they hire new cdl grads, but the website has "xyz experience required."

I think the blonde woman picture on the website is the recruiter.

I believe that if you have Trans Am agreeing to hire you go there. Before you quit them apply elsewhere. It is going to be hard for the next 10 years for you to get a good job so never quit one without already having your next one lined up.

If you do get on with TransAm, try to stay there for at least several years, (at least 3 to 5 years), while maintaining the best work record and driving record possible.

Keep in mind that there are probably both forward facing dash cameras and driver facing cameras on all of their trucks.

Afterwards, look elsewhere for another trucking company that you could probably settle in for a number of years to come.

Good luck to you! God bless you and your entire family!

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

You might have better luck looking local as well. Or even for a owner operator that has a extra truck that's been parked and needs a driver. Drive around your town or nearby and see if you can go into a office face to face. Be careful doing that though, there are some shady people and companies in this industry and you may not like what you see on your paycheck. Like what's been said just apply, talk, be polite and once you get on do NOT give anyone any reason to let you go. Speeding, seatbelt, cell phone, being late, calling off, etc you must be the perfect driver.

Good luck man. I just hope TransAm don t pull a certain mega carrier on you and say no problem until you get to orientation only to find out that they cannot hire you because they did not run your background info until you got to orientation. Like other posters said, if you get hired on, tough it out long enough until those items gets some time lapsed on them

Really man pay close attention to me. Give up on your trucking dreams. I swear some of these Guys are getting paid by these bottom feeding companies.

    1. Trans am will not hire you. They will force you into their lease purchase scam and you pay them to drive their truck. You will have no other options. Don't waste your time getting a cdl you can't use.

    2. Convict cargo is a team company. Usually hiring other felons who may slit your throat in the middle of the night from some Undiagnosed post tramadic stress disorder.

There are other careers out there and doing this job for scraps isn't worth it. U can make more with a homeless, ugly, traveling, and will beg for food sign.
