    I got my cdl in 2012 and went to work for a company for a very short 2 weeks before I had to head home to help out with a struggling family business.
    So it is all settled now and looking to start again the process. My cdl is current just need to know what direction to go.
    My question is, is there any company that would take me or do I have to go back to school and take a refresher program?

    Call Midwest coast (MCT) in Sioux Falls, SD. I see signs when I go by their yard all the time, that they offer a refresher course in their training dept. Other than that I don't know too much about them except all their drivers I've talked to seemed happy there.
