Do a little research, and if you want to go home much, be sure there is a terminal or very steady freight nearby. Experience will be most beneficial to you when choosing a carrier, so find a good company that will train you and treat you well. The hardest part of the whole system is finding a company that treats drivers right. Good luck, and keep your head up.

Call or fill out online regardless of what it says about exp. Reddaway, R&L carriers, Estes, Old Diminion, Saia etc. LTL. It's hiring season and people have been able to get on without exp. Got to have a Hazmat and doubles though. Real easy to get. FedEx Ground will hire you to team in that area too as a new driver. Had a buddy do that straight out of trucking school.
