what are some good regional opportunities hiring from Florida?

    I will be finished my first year of OTR with PAM Transport in June 2014..I live in Ocala Florida and I'm interested in getting on with a good company that offers regional routes so that i can be home more with my family..I'm new at trucking and don't want to get tangled up with a company i regret.. Any advice for the new guy..what are some of the best companies that will hire out ofcentral Florida with one year experience

    Davis Express out of Starke. They used to require 2 years but now they will take you after 1 year but you must go out with a trainer. You dont live close enough to Bradenton to qualify for Heyls regional/Tropicana fleet. Comcar and it's family of companies pay weakly. Swift might have something. They have a terminal in Ocala.

    I believe Premier has a terminal around Ocala also. They do Alot of retail delivery. Try fuel haulers. Your probably gonna Gross less than 1k a week with anything you find.
    Probably in the 600-800 range. Pemberton does se regional also.
