You couldn't be more wrong in your assessment of my comment...but I respect how you handle your business. I can keep my head raised and walk with a purpose while not making eye contact and be very aware of surroundings. I am not a badbutt so no need for me to act like one or give the impression of being one. How I handle myself has kept me safe in many different parts of this country and others while traveling solo on foot.

 

the hunts point coop meat market in the bronx is probably one of the safest places ya can go so dont let anyone bs ya ..14 ft razer wire fence and security patrolled and gated ...but dont idle youre truck there !
the philly market area has really cleaned up and isnt a big deal anymore but id really avoid camden nj after dark .

id be more worried in places like :
dallas /ft.worth
tulsa
okc
no.omaha
no.minneapolis
east side of cleveland
st.louis /e.st.louis .
eastern market area of detriot or highland park .
no.milwaukee
no.toledo
to name only a few .

 

Hunts Point is a recreational centre today compared to what it was in the past and dont let anyone bs ya , and you are correct that Camden NJ is just a murder waiting to happen once the sun goes down

 

seems like some of the mid size cities are gettin worse than what the larger cities used to be ..theres areas of north omaha the cops dont want to go to these days .

 

Dallas seems to be one of those cities that cleans up part of it, then the rest goes to even more crap then it was for a little while. Then it levels out (which means it's still bad in places but not crazy bad). I still wouldn't walk alone or in the dark in a lot of parts of Dallas (especially by the convention center).


On the Fort Worth side Holtom City goes through it's cycles of being bad and worse, but it's surrounded by pretty good areas. South Fort Worth is not the best area but isn't nearly as bad as Dallas.

I, always worked shady areas. White dude on the job is un-wanted attention by hard core non tax payers pillars of society not trying to make a quick dollar. It's always retarded questionable teens trying to make a quick name and attention. Head is on swivel for young folks.

I carry a full spray bottle of rubbing alcohol. It works great on windows and thugs. Spray them in the eyes with that stuff, sit back, and be entertained. Im also partial to the fire extinguisher. When going to a bad area I pre trip that just to make sure its charged and ready if needed.

 

I keep a decoy wallet filled with poisonous snakes.
