I started changing all my trailers over to galvanized winches. Only issue so far is that I’ve not been able to get the “non store” lower profile ones. Otherwise they’re great.

I don’t see the point tho unless it’s a rgn u u can get an alluminum trailer . My aluminum has a higher concentrated rate rating than just about every Tri Axle steel step I’ve researched .

Wow that’s crazy ..I still have an overall higher deck rating a 120. And about 2000 lbs lighter . Off subjuect . GMC is now putting an allision 10spd in there 2500/3500 series I wonder if it’s the same as the tc10 the put in semis

Also I would still probably opt out for the higher concentrated rate

I can do 70 in 10 ..the issue with steps and heavy freight I always run in to is the load is either to high or to heavy for ramps...

Different work requires different tools. I don’t need high weight concentration or a light weight. N after I cracked a frame on a all aluminum flatbed, I don’t expect to buy more in the future bc of how few people can fix them correctly.

Also convient when some guy is trying to get me to run oversize for general freight price ..I can still scale 46k legally so I’ll refuse to hall it without any worries
