Not a regular poster here, just the son of a trucker who also loves them big rigs. I did work as a cook for ten years, though, and dealt with all kinds of slippery, greasy floors. I second the Shoes for Crews recommendation. Similar to Tred Safes, but a lot more durable and comfortable.
If I didn't slip while the new cook accidentally emptied the fryer into the floor (instead of the bucket), they will probably be great on your reefer.
