Down sides are, sometimes you have multiple picks as well as multiple drops. Usually you have to load on the weekends to start dropping on Monday, and sometimes you need to load on Friday depending on how far your first stop is .expedite_it Thanks this.

Thank you
thank you for the honest, informative and well articulated and composed information. I’ve always been curious about LTL. Now is there any company in your opinion that’s by far better than the rest? Or Is it like Orr and everything is really competitive. Thanks God BlessLtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
Everyone has different priorities. My top ones are home time, money and working environment. So MY list would be:
1. UPS Freight
2. FedEx Freight
3. ABF (my former employer)
4. Old Dominion
5. Dayton Freight
6. Estes
7. R&L (no personal experience, but a couple great people I know vouch highly)
The main one I tell people to steer clear of is YRC. That's a 12-year ongoing bankruptcy, and I don't care how much illegitimate money the government throws at them, they'll never make a profit.jmz Thanks this. -
I know a few people that have got royally screwed over by YRC so I know to stay clear lolLtlAnonymous Thanks this.

Do you know what states/ areas ABF runs. As I live in Orlando, FlLtlAnonymous Thanks this.
